During the first 3D Sculpture for Collectible course, held by Daniele Danko Angelozzi, I created the female character Anna the Witch. In February of this year I had the second and last opportunity to create a second subject for this second course which has all the effects and turns out to be a pleasant mentorship.
The second character chosen is a warrior cleric ( Is based from the character concept by Adam Lutodelle https://www.instagram.com/lutodelle/ ) who with her characterization has proved perfect from the beginning for the purposes of the course.
I chose her, because unlike the previous character, the attention was focused more on the anatomy and simulation of dress that I did not deal with with Anna.
Even in this case, the challenge was not easy, but it encouraged me to do better. As in the previous work, I modeled and sculpted the character starting from a series of spheres and positioned the character in a pose, subsequently it was put in a pose, trying both to resume the attitude of the concept but also to make the pose itself more suitable for the 3D environment, going to reduce the weak angles where the pose may not be as loaded as the main view. In Marvelous Desginer I created the paper patterns of the various elements of the dress, which I first adapted to the model in a pose and then simulated on the model in the reference pose of the concept. In zbrush I worked on the folds better and added the texture and other micro details. Although each element has a uv, the rendered model is made up of meshes that were decimated to be loaded into the render engine. The entire character was colored with polypaint. I chose this approach to enhance the sculpture.
